Standards Compliance and Browser Compatibility

Aaron M. Bond [dot] COM is built using Transitional XHTML 1.0. All styles on the pages are presented in standard-compliant CSS 2.1, with the exception of conditional information that only appears on non-standard browsers (Internet Explorer 6 and 7)*. All standards-compliant browsers should render this site properly.

Other than legacy sections of the site that are no longer being updated, this site employs tableless design. Tables are only used to display data and are not used as a design implement.

The following browsers have been tested with this site:

    Renders properly.

    Renders properly.
  • Internet Explorer 7
    Renders properly (uses some non-standard conditional CSS).

Development Tools and Strategies

All dynamic content on this site was developed in PHP using Eclipse PDT 2.0. Eclipse and PDT are available under the Eclipse Public License. Non-dynamic pages, client side scripts, and CSS were developed in Dreamweaver 8.

Applications on this site were developed using the Model, View, Controller methodology.
